The Business Analyst role offers the opportunity to play a key part in enterprise-wide transformation and digital initiatives within a global insurance environment. Working closely with business and technology stakeholders, you will help shape strategic programmes, drive process improvement, and translate business objectives into practical solutions that deliver measurable value.
Responsibilities
1. Support Enterprise Strategy and Transformation Initiatives
Partner with business leaders to support enterprise transformation programmes across functions including Distribution, Operations, Marketing, Customer Experience, and other business areas
Participate in strategic discussions and contribute an IT perspective to business-led initiatives
Structure complex business challenges, facilitate problem-solving sessions, and help define transformation opportunities
Act as a trusted adviser to business stakeholders throughout the strategy development process
2. Requirements Analysis and Solution Definition
Collaborate with stakeholders and Product Owners to gather, analyse, document, and prioritise business requirements
Conduct current-state (As-Is) and future-state (To-Be) process analysis
Identify process improvement opportunities and business value drivers
Facilitate workshops and discussions between business teams, architects, and development teams to clarify requirements and solution options
Translate business needs into actionable requirements and technical solution recommendations
3. Strategy Execution and Roadmap Development
Convert agreed strategies and transformation concepts into executable plans
Support the development of:
Roadmaps
Milestones
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Risk management plans
Governance frameworks
Monitor progress and help ensure strategic objectives are achieved
4. Digital Transformation and Agile Delivery
Support enterprise digital transformation and business change initiatives
Serve as the liaison between business and technology organisations
Work closely with Project Managers, Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and delivery teams
Promote Agile practices and support Agile adoption across projects and teams
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and delivery excellence
5. Leadership and Organisational Development
Lead and mentor Business Analysts and project team members
Drive capability building, knowledge sharing, and best-practice development within the organisation
Build strong relationships with stakeholders across business and technology functions
Support decision-making processes and executive communications
Contribute to resource planning, talent development, and team management activities
Act as a role model for business analysis standards and professional excellence
Requirements
Required Experience
Minimum 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst in:
Insurance
Omni-channel transformation
Business process improvement
Digital transformation initiatives
Proven experience leading projects or workstreams as a Lead Business Analyst
Experience working in cross-functional and multi-stakeholder environments
Experience working in multicultural or international organisations is preferred
Consulting firm experience or participation in consulting-led transformation projects would be advantageous

Familiarity with digital platforms, enterprise applications, and technology-enabled business transformation
Industry Knowledge
Knowledge of insurance products, operations, and regulatory environments is preferred
