A global engineering consultancy specializing in commissioning and technical project delivery is looking for a Commissioning Manager. The selected candidate will lead commissioning activities from planning through completion, coordinating technical stakeholders and supporting the successful delivery of complex building and infrastructure projects.
Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate commissioning processes, including technical reporting, status updates, progress tracking, and scheduling
Provide strategic and operational commissioning management for building services projects
Review design documents, specifications, shop drawings, and commissioning-related documentation
Coordinate with contractors, manufacturers, and project stakeholders to resolve technical issues and achieve project objectives
Attend and oversee commissioning activities for critical systems and sub-systems, including site inspections
Witness testing and commissioning activities, verify compliance with project requirements, and ensure adherence to applicable procedures, codes, and safety requirements
Support service delivery in line with client expectations and project objectives
Requirements
Minimum 8 years of experience in testing and commissioning activities, including at least 3 years in a leadership or management role
Diploma, degree, or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related discipline
Strong understanding of testing, installation, commissioning, and project management within building services or electromechanical fields
Proven project management, stakeholder management, communication, and interpersonal skills
Experience reviewing technical documentation, specifications, and commissioning procedures
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Project
Business-level written and spoken English and Japanese
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deliver projects in a structured and efficient manner
