The Communications Sr. Staff role offers an exciting opportunity to drive high-impact corporate communications in a global environment. You will shape messaging across English-language channels, supporting strategic initiatives and engaging with media, stakeholders, and senior leadership. This position plays a pivotal role in ensuring clear, timely, and effective communication both internally and externally.
Responsibilities
Lead the creation and execution of English-language corporate communications, including press releases, stock exchange disclosures, and press conferences
Develop and manage communication strategies for key business initiatives such as M&A, aligning messaging across internal and external audiences
Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to maximise PR impact through media engagement and social media initiatives
Manage media relations, including handling inquiries, organising interviews, and supporting executive communications with preparation and follow-up
Design and execute crisis communication strategies, ensuring accurate and timely information dissemination in both Japanese and English
Support senior management in delivering clear and consistent messaging across various communication channels
Requirements
Native or equivalent proficiency in both Japanese and English, particularly in writing and communication
Ability to adapt quickly and respond effectively in dynamic and fast-changing environments
Strong ownership and persistence to complete complex tasks, including coordination across multiple stakeholders
Motivation to build a long-term career in communications and develop expertise in the field
Experience in PR, marketing, IR, corporate planning, or strategic communications is advantageous
Familiarity with stock exchange disclosures, financial communications, press conferences, or social media management is beneficial
Experience handling sensitive topics such as crisis communications or M&A is preferred
Ability to manage multiple priorities, work under tight deadlines, and operate with a proactive mindset in a global environment
