The Director, Global Treasury role offers the opportunity to lead and shape treasury strategy within a complex multinational technology and manufacturing environment. This position plays a critical part in supporting global growth and transformation initiatives through effective liquidity management, financial risk oversight, treasury governance, and strategic financial planning. The role provides significant exposure to executive leadership and the opportunity to influence key financial decisions on a global scale.
Responsibilities
Lead global cash forecasting and liquidity management activities
Oversee funding strategies, debt management, and financing initiatives
Manage foreign exchange exposures and financial risk mitigation programmes
Maintain and strengthen relationships with financial institutions
Develop and enhance treasury policies, controls, and governance frameworks
Coordinate global insurance programmes and risk financing activities
Support large-scale business initiatives, acquisitions, and organisational transformation projects
Drive treasury process optimisation, automation, and systems enhancements
Partner closely with senior leadership on strategic financial decisions
Lead and develop a geographically diverse treasury team
Requirements
12+ years of progressive experience in Treasury, Corporate Finance, Banking, or related fields
Strong experience in global cash management, funding, and financial risk management
Experience operating within a multinational organisation
Proven ability to manage banking relationships and negotiate financing arrangements
Strong understanding of treasury governance, controls, and compliance
Experience managing activities across multiple currencies and jurisdictions
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Business-level English proficiency
Experience within technology, electronics, manufacturing, or industrial sectors
Exposure to large-scale global operations
Experience with ERP platforms and treasury management systems
Knowledge of capital markets, debt financing, and refinancing activities
Understanding of IFRS and treasury-related accounting considerations
Professional qualifications such as CPA, CFA, CTP, CMA, or MBA
