The Embedded Systems Software Engineer role offers the opportunity to contribute to the development of next-generation vehicle platforms, focusing on advanced driver assistance technologies. This position involves close collaboration with international teams and customers, supporting global software development initiatives.
Responsibilities
Define, update, and review software requirements aligned with evolving vehicle platform needs
Design and develop robust software architecture for embedded systems
Create detailed software designs and develop validated components in line with coding standards
Conduct testing and validation activities to ensure software quality and performance
Collaborate with offshore teams to support design, requirement alignment, and issue resolution
Communicate effectively with customers on requirements, testing outcomes, and issue analysis
Requirements
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in embedded software development, ideally within automotive applications
Understanding of CAN or Ethernet communication systems is preferred
Familiarity with development tools such as CANoe or DaVinci is advantageous
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or a related field
Business-level proficiency in both English and Japanese
