The GenAI Lead role offers an exciting opportunity to lead the design, development, and delivery of enterprise-scale Generative AI solutions. This position combines technical leadership with hands-on expertise, driving the adoption of AI technologies to automate business processes, build intelligent AI agents, and deliver scalable cloud-native applications across a complex global organisation.
Responsibilities
Lead the end-to-end delivery of Generative AI and agentic AI solutions across the organisation.
Design and implement scalable AI architectures, APIs, and microservices to support enterprise-wide initiatives.
Partner with business and technology stakeholders to identify, prioritise, and deliver high-impact AI use cases.
Oversee the full software development lifecycle, including development, testing, deployment, and operational support.
Manage cloud-based AI platforms and promote best practices in development standards, documentation, and governance.
Guide and mentor AI engineering teams, fostering technical excellence and successful project delivery.
Collaborate with global and offshore teams to ensure effective execution of strategic technology programmes.
Requirements
10–15 years of software development experience, including experience in technical leadership roles.
Strong expertise in Generative AI, large language models (LLMs), AI agents, and automation frameworks.
Hands-on experience with Python, Java, Spring Boot, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Docker, and Kubernetes.
Solid understanding of APIs, microservices, SQL and NoSQL databases, and modern web technologies.
Japanese language proficiency at JLPT N2 level or above.
Business-level English communication skills.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and team leadership capabilities.
Preferred:
Experience within insurance or financial services environments.
Demonstrated success in digital transformation initiatives and enterprise-scale technology delivery.
