Responsibilities
Partner with business leaders to provide proactive HR guidance and support on a broad range of people-related matters.
Develop a deep understanding of business priorities and workforce needs to deliver effective HR solutions that enable organisational success.
Leverage people data, trends, and key metrics, in collaboration with HR leadership and Centres of Excellence, to support decision-making and identify opportunities for improvement.
Manage complex employee relations matters, investigations, and workplace concerns in partnership with relevant stakeholders.
Build strong working relationships across the organisation to enhance employee engagement, performance, retention, and team effectiveness.
Provide expert guidance on HR policies, procedures, and best practices, ensuring compliance and consistency.
Support workforce planning, organisational design, and succession planning initiatives.
Identify capability gaps and development opportunities at both individual and team levels.
Assess the effectiveness of learning and development programmes and recommend enhancements where appropriate.
Contribute to the development and implementation of innovative people strategies that support evolving business needs and organisational growth.
Requirements
Demonstrated experience as a People Partner, HR Business Partner, or in a comparable HR business partnering role.
Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building capabilities.
Native-level Japanese and business-level English proficiency.
Data-driven and analytical mindset with a results-oriented approach.
Experience leveraging HR metrics to inform decision-making and drive business outcomes.
Solid knowledge of Japanese labour laws and employment practices.
Comprehensive understanding of core HR disciplines and HR best practices.
