Working closely with both local and global stakeholders, this position plays a key role in recruitment, talent development, organisational effectiveness, and culture transformation to support long-term business success.
Responsibilities
Partner with business leaders to identify organisational challenges and implement effective people strategies aligned with business objectives
Support performance management, talent development, and workforce planning initiatives to strengthen organisational capability
Lead graduate recruitment activities, including workforce planning, candidate attraction, and selection processes
Contribute to organisational development and cultural transformation programmes focused on employee engagement and retention
Collaborate with global HR teams to ensure local HR practices align with broader organisational goals
Support employee relations and labour-related matters by identifying risks and providing appropriate guidance and solutions
Requirements
Experience in HR business partnering, HR operations, or payroll within a professional environment
Ability to communicate effectively in both English and Japanese, both written and spoken
Knowledge of Japanese labour law and employment practices
Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to translate business needs into practical HR solutions
Experience in recruitment and/or organisational development is advantageous
Proactive approach with strong problem-solving skills
Ability to thrive in a dynamic and evolving environment
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building capabilities
