Responsibilities :

You will own Observability platform and services, to provide end- to- end visibility across IT services to proactively detect abnormal behavior and address issues before service impact occurs.

Lead and manage ITSM processes for Japan technology service operations, including Command Center, Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Service Request Management and BCP/DR

Oversee and drive the Major Incident Management process, ensuring rapid restoration of critical services and effective communication to all stakeholders, including senior management and business lines.

Own and manage Observability Platform, provide end- to- end visibility across IT services, partnering with the various IT Infrastructure product and service owners, and application teams.

Drive standards and best practices for dashboards, SLI/SLOs, error budgets, ensuring consistency and actionable insights across IT organizations.

Promote SRE operating practices, including post- incident review for lesson learned, in partnership with IT product and service owners.

Required Experience / Abilities / Skills :

- Around 5 years of experience in IT resiliency, disaster recovery, business continuity, or a similar role within a large enterprise, preferably in the insurance or financial services industry.

- Demonstrated experience managing observability platforms, including building standard dashboards, collecting metrics, logs and traces across IT products and services for operational insight.

- Demonstrated expertise in IT Service Management (ITSM) principles and practices, including hands-on experience with incident management, problem management, and change management.

- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences, including senior leadership and business stakeholders.

- Understanding of SRE operating models and practices (e.g., service reliability metrics, MTTR reduction, post- incident reviews); hands- on SRE experience is a strong plus.
