Responsibilities :

Our Seating Division is looking for IT Manager for its Kyushu Plant at Tagawa, Fukuoka.

The role of an IT Manager for Kyushu plant is to manage the relationship between IT Shared Services and the Sites within the assigned Zone and to assure that the users are receiving the agreed Service from IT Shared Services, defined in a common Service Level Agreement (SLA).

The main missions of the role are to:

1. Collaboration with teams and budget management

1.1 Prepare and update an SLA with site

1.2 Manage on-site IT personnel by setting long/short-term and professional objectives.

1.3 Verify that Site IT personnel have defined and applied proper IT procedures and get required IT skills

1.4 Direct the IT Shared Services budget for sites, approving all related IT purchases.

1.5 Manage the relationship between sites and IT Shared Services: communicate with site management, site IT teams and management/IT workgroups any specific site changes or upcoming/current projects etc.

1.6 Organize meeting with each site to discuss an "Action Plan", giving both a status report and a plan of action.

1.7 Manage the requirements requested by the sites, coordinating if necessary with the appropriate Business Group IT.

2. Manage information resources and IT infrastructure (generic statements):

2.1 Software control and distribution

2.2 IT resources and systems capacity management

2.3 Users’ request management

2.4 Incident management

2.5 Change management: RfC management, validation and planning, priority management

2.6 IT infrastructure configuration management: provide IT infrastructure control by supporting of actual

information about IT systems configuration, changes history, relationships between different objects of IT

systems

2.7 Systems availability management: problem management; failure modes and risk analysis; backup modes management; monitoring of availability; prepare and update SLA according to company standards and Business needs

3. Information systems management

3.1 Manage setup and planned maintenance of IT systems according to corporate standards

3.2 Communicate to internal shared services to Manage IT systems supported externally

3.3 Manage work instructions how to use IT systems and user’s support

3.4 Consult users how to use IT systems and support to select proper IT solution to cover Business needs

3.5 Manage IT security requirements to IT systems (Restrict access with firewall, use strong passwords, restrict usage of not safe data transfer protocols)

3.6 Managing of software licenses and software maintenance contracts in IT Responsibility area

4. Physical IT infrastructure management

4.1 Build redundant IT infrastructure according to company standards with support of company shared IT services and external suppliers

4.2 Provide high availability of critical IT infrastructure (cabling, IT cooling systems, gas extinguishing system, UPS, LAN, Wi-Fi, serves availability)

4.3 Support high availability of externa data transfer channels (internet, WAN, VPN Connections with Customers)

4.4 Management of LAN equipment Cisco with support from IT shared services

4.5 Manage monitoring of IT systems availability

4.6 Manging of maintenance contracts for IT systems with suppliers (Server room Cooling system, UPS batteries replacement, servers’ hardware, gas extinguishing system)

4.7 Manage purchasing of IT systems and spare parts

4.8 Assets management according to full life cycle: Planning -> Purchasing ->Usage -> Decommissioning

4.9 Ensure to apply Group standards, especially concerning hardware, software, Security policy, software licenses control, inventory, etc.

5. Data management

5.1 Manage data backups according to corporate standards

5.2 Manage data storage availability and systems capacity

5.3 Support users how to manage access to IT data & support with periodical access audit (file servers, IT systems)

6. Manufacturing systems (MES) management

6.1 Provide a high availability of linked to MES IT infrastructure (MES)

6.2 Risk management for MES IT failures (FMEA). Collaborate with MES users and vendors to implement MES backup modes.

6.3 Investigate MES IT incidents and provide solutions how to prevent a reoccurrence. Collaborate with MES users and vendors to achieve the result.

6.4 Manage user’s access to MES system

6.5 Document relationships of MES with other systems. Manage work instructions how to configure printers, scanners, Dashboards and PC to work with MES

6.6 Support an availability of data exchange channels between MES, ERP and Customer VPN

Required Experience / Abilities / Skills :

Qualifications

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering with a specialization in information Technology

or 5 years’ experience in IT

- English level: Business / TOEIC:600 at least

- Japanese level: Business / Fluent

Experience:

【Must】

- At least 5 years working experience in IT mainly IT infrastructure.

【Have experience with either】

- VMWare,

- Cisco switch

- Microsoft Windows Servers,

- Active Directory,

- Backup system,

- LAN/WAN,

- MES.

- Experience to build redundant IT infrastructure
