The Japan CEO Staff (Business Development) role offers the opportunity to work closely with the Japan Representative and global leadership team to drive strategic initiatives, operational excellence, and business growth. This highly visible position combines executive support, cross-functional project leadership, and business development, providing direct exposure to key decision-making and the expansion of innovative Physical AI solutions in the Japanese market.
Responsibilities
Partner with leadership to define and execute strategic priorities and key business initiatives.
Lead cross-functional projects involving multiple departments and stakeholders.
Monitor project progress, identify bottlenecks, and ensure successful execution of critical initiatives.
Collaborate closely with global teams and international partners to support business operations.
Build and enhance operational processes, standard operating procedures, and scalable internal systems.
Support executive decision-making through planning, documentation, meeting preparation, and coordination.
Assist with business development activities, partnership discussions, and contract-related matters.
Contribute to the development of business models and commercial structures tailored to the Japanese market.
Requirements
At least 5 years of experience within a start-up, consulting firm, venture capital, strategy function, or a related environment.
Strong execution capability with a proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Ability to drive initiatives independently in ambiguous and rapidly changing environments.
Business-level English or Korean communication skills, including meeting facilitation, presentations, and written communication.
Business-level or higher Japanese communication skills.
Excellent project management, stakeholder management, and organisational skills.
High level of ownership, discretion, and professionalism.
