Job Description

  • Execute sourcing strategies to ensure optimal supplier performance in cost, quality, and delivery timelines, supporting business objectives within a technology-focused environment

  • Manage sourcing projects by documenting action plans, tracking progress, and ensuring timely execution

  • Identify and select high-performing suppliers in alignment with established procurement strategies

  • Lead RFx processes and competitive bidding to secure the best value while minimizing risk

  • Evaluate suppliers through reviews, site visits, and audits in collaboration with quality teams to ensure compliance with required standards

  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms with suppliers to meet quality, delivery, and cost targets

  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to maintain supply continuity and improve sourcing efficiency through continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications

  • 5–10 years of sourcing or procurement experience, preferably related to mechanical components or equipment

  • Experience working with domestic and international manufacturers, distributors, or brokers

  • Demonstrated success in negotiation, cost management, and supplier development

  • Solid understanding of mechanical components, supply markets, and technical specifications

  • Proficiency in procurement systems and digital tools such as Excel, Power BI, and ERP systems

  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills

  • Business-level proficiency in both Japanese and English, written and spoken
