Job Description
Execute sourcing strategies to ensure optimal supplier performance in cost, quality, and delivery timelines, supporting business objectives within a technology-focused environment
Manage sourcing projects by documenting action plans, tracking progress, and ensuring timely execution
Identify and select high-performing suppliers in alignment with established procurement strategies
Lead RFx processes and competitive bidding to secure the best value while minimizing risk
Evaluate suppliers through reviews, site visits, and audits in collaboration with quality teams to ensure compliance with required standards
Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms with suppliers to meet quality, delivery, and cost targets
Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to maintain supply continuity and improve sourcing efficiency through continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
5–10 years of sourcing or procurement experience, preferably related to mechanical components or equipment
Experience working with domestic and international manufacturers, distributors, or brokers
Demonstrated success in negotiation, cost management, and supplier development
Solid understanding of mechanical components, supply markets, and technical specifications
Proficiency in procurement systems and digital tools such as Excel, Power BI, and ERP systems
Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Business-level proficiency in both Japanese and English, written and spoken
