Responsibilities
Lead, mentor and develop the project management team, fostering a high-performance and collaborative culture.
Oversee the planning, execution and delivery of multiple projects, ensuring alignment with organisational strategy and priorities.
Establish, maintain and continuously improve project management frameworks, governance structures and delivery standards.
Build strong relationships with senior leaders, business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to support effective decision-making and project success.
Monitor project performance, timelines, budgets and quality, ensuring objectives are achieved efficiently.
Identify, assess and mitigate risks across the project portfolio, acting as a senior escalation point when required.
Enhance organisational project management maturity through coaching, guidance, training and the promotion of best practices.
Requirements
Proven experience leading project management teams and overseeing project portfolios.
Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, including Agile, Waterfall and hybrid delivery approaches.
Demonstrated success delivering complex projects on time, within budget and to agreed scope.
Experience developing governance frameworks, processes and delivery standards.
Excellent stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills.
Strong problem-solving, risk management and decision-making capabilities.
Ability to balance strategic thinking with effective execution.
Experience leading transformation or technology-driven initiatives is advantageous.
Background in coaching and developing project management professionals is preferred.
Familiarity with enterprise-level project or portfolio management frameworks is desirable.
