The Regional Business Controller role offers an exciting opportunity to drive financial performance and strategic decision-making across multiple channels. This position plays a key part in analysing profitability, controlling costs, and partnering with business leaders to optimise commercial outcomes.
Responsibilities
Perform monthly profit and loss analysis across store and eCommerce operations, identifying key cost drivers such as payroll and logistics
Manage and monitor budgeting across non-controlled cost areas, including travel, office expenses, local taxes, and sales-related costs
Support administrative and marketing cost planning, ensuring efficient tracking and use of local marketing budgets
Analyse variances between actual results and budgets, and collaborate with stakeholders to implement corrective actions
Ensure accurate monthly and annual financial reporting in partnership with accounting teams, alongside oversight of liquidity and cash flow
Track and support business-critical projects, ensuring clear financial cases and alignment with organisational objectives
Act as a trusted finance partner to stakeholders, translating financial data into actionable insights and strengthening cost control practices
Requirements
Structured, analytical, and commercially minded professional with a strong controlling background
Ability to translate financial data into meaningful business insights that drive performance
Strong accountability and effective communication skills across functions
Commercial mindset with a focus beyond pure financial reporting
Degree in finance, business, economics, or a related discipline
Proven experience in financial or business controlling, including P&L analysis and budget management
Experience in retail or fast-moving consumer environments is advantageous
