The Robot Implementation Project Manager role offers a unique opportunity to lead the end-to-end delivery of advanced automation solutions. You will play a central part in shaping next-generation robotic systems, from concept through to deployment, in a fast-evolving environment focused on innovation and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
Define requirements and propose concepts for next-generation robotic systems aligned with client needs
Design system specifications, including robot model selection, end-effector configuration, and control systems
Manage project timelines, budgets, specifications, development processes, and on-site implementation
Coordinate and negotiate with internal engineering teams, clients, and external vendors to ensure seamless project execution
Support the setup and optimisation of test environments and operational robot cells
Troubleshoot technical issues and enhance system performance and quality after deployment
Lead vendor selection, evaluation, and management, alongside documentation such as manuals and final reports
Requirements
Experience with control systems in industrial equipment, machine tools, electrical systems, or logistics and production management systems
Strong ability to coordinate effectively with engineering teams, clients, and vendors
Business-level proficiency in Japanese across reading, writing, and speaking
Confidence in English communication, particularly for written correspondence and messaging
Preferred experience in industrial robot design and implementation
Familiarity with automation systems integrated with logistics, WES, or production management platforms is advantageous
CAD design experience is beneficial
Programming knowledge in Python or C++ is desirable
