A global outsourced semiconductor assembly and testing company is looking for an SCM Specialist / Sourcing Specialist. The selected candidate will gather market and technology intelligence in Japan, develop supplier resources, and support advanced packaging projects by improving equipment, materials, and spare-parts sourcing.
Responsibilities
Collect industry and market intelligence related to semiconductor assembly, including high-end equipment and materials in the Japanese semiconductor market.
Track the latest market, technology, and competitor developments, and support business and R&D teams in understanding equipment and material capabilities for advanced packaging.
Help optimize processes and accelerate process iteration by providing timely technology and supplier information.
Expand supplier resources in Japan, continuously strengthen the supplier pool, and advance core projects and strategic cooperation in advanced technologies.
Develop sourcing resources for secondary materials and spare parts, improving delivery times, particularly for bottleneck items.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or above.
3–8 years of engineering experience in the semiconductor industry, specifically involving materials or equipment.
English and/or Mandarin language skills are preferred.
