Job Description
Lead the deployment, management, and ongoing support of enterprise security tools across on-premise and cloud environments including AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform
Act as a trusted advisor on security engineering practices, mentoring team members and supporting developers in identifying threats and implementing mitigation strategies
Collaborate with cross-functional security and IT teams to assess and resolve critical risks, ensuring the protection of systems and data across cloud and hybrid environments
Develop, maintain, and enforce cloud security policies, standards, and procedures aligned with organizational requirements
Partner with architecture, engineering, remediation, and infrastructure teams to strengthen security posture for workloads and applications
Support continuous improvement of cloud security capabilities using advanced tools, automation, and best practices
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
Fluent English and intermediate Japanese proficiency for communication in meetings and written materials
Experience leading teams or supervising technical staff for 3 years or more
Extensive hands-on experience (12+ years) in on-premise and cloud security, including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
Strong expertise in cloud security posture management, vulnerability management, and security architecture across hybrid environments
Deep understanding of cloud platforms and services, including IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, and IDaaS
Experience implementing security controls in cloud-native environments such as Kubernetes and serverless platforms
Familiarity with security frameworks and standards such as NIST, CIS Benchmarks, DISA STIG, ISO 27001/27002, PCI DSS, and SOX
Proficiency in Windows, Active Directory, and Unix/Linux systems, including infrastructure hardening and secure configurations
Knowledge of scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Linux shell
Understanding of networking protocols including TCP/IP and HTTP
Experience with endpoint security, incident response processes, and SIEM tools
Hands-on experience with vulnerability analysis and troubleshooting complex systems
Certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, Security+, or cloud platform certifications are advantageous
Self-driven mindset, strong ownership, and ability to collaborate effectively within global teams
