Responsibilities
Build and strengthen strategic relationships with automotive OEMs and key suppliers in Japan.
Develop and execute key account strategies to support long-term business growth.
Identify and lead new business opportunities related to automotive interior and exterior applications.
Manage high-potential projects from opportunity development through commercialisation.
Coordinate business activities with Japanese automotive customers across global markets, including Asia and North America.
Lead customer discussions concerning project development, material specifications, pricing, and commercial agreements.
Monitor market trends and competitive activities, providing strategic recommendations to support business planning.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions and ensure customer success.
Lead and develop the mobility business team while driving strategic initiatives.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Materials Science, or a related technical discipline.
Minimum of 8 years' experience in automotive business development.
Strong understanding of automotive development processes and material specification activities.
Experience working with automotive OEMs and/or Tier 1 suppliers.
Knowledge of film technologies, including Film Insert Moulding (FIM), polycarbonate films, TPU, or related materials.
Proven ability to lead complex projects and manage multiple stakeholders.
Experience engaging with and negotiating alongside senior decision-makers.
Strong strategic thinking, leadership, and account management capabilities.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Native-level Japanese and business-fluent English language proficiency.
