The Senior Software Engineer role offers the opportunity to contribute to the development of advanced embedded software for next-generation driver assistance technologies. This position plays an important part in delivering high-quality automotive systems while working closely with international engineering teams and exploring innovative technologies, including AI and digital engineering solutions.
Responsibilities
Develop embedded software for ADAS products, including software design, implementation, validation, and continuous quality improvement.
Analyse and resolve technical challenges throughout the software development lifecycle to ensure reliable and high-quality product delivery.
Investigate software quality issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions using standardised problem-solving methodologies such as QRQC.
Prepare technical documentation, including software specifications, development reports, and technical analyses.
Research and evaluate emerging technologies to enhance development processes and product capabilities.
Explore the application of AI and digital technologies to improve engineering efficiency and software development practices.
Contribute to innovation initiatives, including patent and intellectual property development, while collaborating closely with domestic and international engineering teams.
Requirements
Hands-on experience in embedded systems or embedded software development.
Approximately 7 years or more of experience in embedded development preferred; candidates with 3 to 5 years of experience and strong learning agility will also be considered.
Business-level English communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in an international environment.
Experience developing automotive electronic control units such as ADAS or TCU systems is highly desirable.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to independently drive technical activities while collaborating with remote and cross-functional teams.
Interest in new technologies, software quality improvement, and innovation within embedded software development.
