A company in the pharmaceutical industry is hiring for an Associate or Senior Associate role in manufacturing supply chain planning. This organization plays a critical role in ensuring the stable supply of essential products by coordinating complex planning and procurement activities across multiple locations. The role offers an opportunity to contribute directly to reliable product availability while working closely with cross-functional teams in a structured, global environment.

Job Description

Production planning and material requirements planning for raw materials and intermediate products to ensure stable product supply

Inventory planning and coordination of standard production plans with rough-cut capacity planning

Planning and ordering of intermediates and active ingredients, including timing and quantity decisions

Coordination and collaboration with internal departments across manufacturing, quality, distribution, forecasting, and brand teams

Identification of risks related to production, product supply, and import of materials, including preventive actions and issue resolution

Maintenance, operation, and update support of production planning systems

Collaboration with overseas manufacturing sites and global supply chain partners to align supply strategies

Required Experience / Abilities / Skills :

Qualifications

At least three years of experience at a manufacturing company, with experience in production planning and execution management or overseas procurement and delivery management

Business-level English proficiency with the ability to read, write, and engage in discussions, and native-level Japanese proficiency

Ability to work cross-functionally and take ownership of product supply-related coordination and problem-solving

Desirable experience includes indirect manufacturing operations in a pharmaceutical company, experience supporting new product launches, hands-on experience in an SAP environment, management of outsourced service providers, and foundational knowledge of production management such as MRP
