The Technical Project Manager for Interior Sensing System role offers an exciting opportunity to lead the development of advanced sensing solutions within a complex automotive environment. Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the full project lifecycle for interior sensing system development, ensuring alignment with project objectives and customer expectations.

  • Act as the primary technical contact for customers, facilitating discussions and coordinating requirements throughout the development process.

  • Develop and manage project schedules, monitor progress, and support the timely delivery of project milestones.

  • Oversee project costs and resource planning to support efficiency and successful project execution.

  • Drive technical and project-related decision-making, providing direction and support to component leaders.

  • Coordinate engineering activities across multiple development teams to ensure consistent and integrated deliverables.

  • Ensure system development fulfils defined technical requirements and achieves expected performance targets.

Requirements

  • Experience in project management for series development projects.

  • Experience in automotive product development.

  • Business-level communication skills in both Japanese and English.

  • Basic knowledge of driver assistance systems.

  • Ability to lead discussions and coordinate effectively with customers and internal stakeholders.

  • Strong organisational skills with a structured and dependable approach to work.

  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across diverse teams.

  • Strong sense of ownership and a proactive approach to problem-solving and achieving results.

  • Experience in electrical, mechanical, or software development would be advantageous.

  • Familiarity with image processing or sensor technologies would be beneficial.
