The Technology Business Partner role is a strategic opportunity to connect business priorities with technology delivery, ensuring resilient and high-quality IT services. Responsibilities
Act as the escalation point for major IT service issues affecting operations in Japan, ensuring timely resolution and effective communication
Review service performance metrics with delivery teams to identify trends and drive continuous improvement in service quality and incident management
Strengthen operational resilience through continuity planning for critical business functions
Promote the adoption of regional and global technology platforms across local teams
Support change management initiatives to help colleagues understand, engage with, and realise the value of technology changes
Collaborate with stakeholders across local, regional, and global teams to align technology outcomes with business strategy
Requirements
Strong experience partnering with senior business leaders in regulated environments
Proven ability to translate business strategy into practical technology outcomes
Experience managing complex stakeholder landscapes across multiple geographies
Solid understanding of IT service management practices and delivery governance
Experience supporting or leading technology activities related to mergers, acquisitions, or post-merger integration
Familiarity with multinational organisations operating in Japan is advantageous
Experience in insurance, financial services, or professional services environments is preferred
Ability to work effectively within a global matrix organisation
