The Travel Coordinator role offers an exciting opportunity to support the creation of exceptional travel experiences for international visitors to Japan. Working within a globally minded team, you will play a key part in coordinating travel arrangements and ensuring seamless delivery of high-quality itineraries.
Responsibilities
Coordinate travel arrangements including accommodation, transportation, guides, and curated travel experiences in line with planned itineraries
Manage communication with clients, travel agencies, consultants, and suppliers to ensure smooth execution of travel plans
Confirm reservations, process invoices and payment requests, and prepare detailed welcome packages with travel information
Collaborate closely with consultants to understand client needs and translate them into well-organised travel plans
Research and develop new supplier partnerships to expand available travel experiences and offerings
Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail throughout all booking and coordination activities
Requirements
Experience in the travel industry is advantageous but not essential
Business-level English proficiency, approximately equivalent to TOEIC 750 or above
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
Ability to adapt effectively to changing priorities and situations
Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
Valid visa permitting employment in Japan
Genuine interest in international travel, tourism, and customer service
