The AD/ADAS Field Quality Development Engineer role offers the opportunity to contribute to the advancement of autonomous driving and driver assistance technologies by analysing real-world performance data. This position plays a critical part in enhancing system quality through collaboration across global teams and suppliers.
Responsibilities
Analyse warranty data, customer complaints, and component failures related to AD/ADAS systems from global markets
Identify root causes of field issues using accumulated vehicle data and historical records
Develop and implement corrective actions and improvement plans in collaboration with suppliers
Lead cross-functional efforts to drive system and component-level improvements
Prepare and present technical reports outlining repair methods for vehicles already in the market
Support overseas failure analysis activities and investigations
Use vehicle data to assess failure modes and anticipate potential future issues
Requirements
Knowledge or experience in AD/ADAS systems or related development domains
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and identify root causes
Experience working with cross-functional teams and external partners or suppliers
Ability to develop and implement technical improvement plans
Clear communication skills for reporting and presenting technical findings
Willingness to support global activities, including collaboration with overseas teams
