The Advanced Driver Assistance / Autonomous Driving System Chief Product Owner role offers the opportunity to shape the future of mobility by leading the strategy and delivery of advanced driving solutions. This position plays a critical role in defining product vision, driving end-to-end product ownership, and ensuring the successful development and release of innovative ADAS and autonomous driving technologies in collaboration with customers, business stakeholders, and engineering teams.
Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Vision
Define and drive the product vision and roadmap for driving functions, including highway assistance and urban driving capabilities.
Align product strategy with the broader ADAS portfolio and business objectives.
Identify customer needs, market trends, and technology opportunities to influence future product direction.
End-to-End Product Ownership
Own the complete product scope across system and software integration activities.
Define, maintain, and approve top-level system requirements and product scope.
Ensure alignment across related functional areas, including:
Perception
Sensor Fusion
Planning and Decision-Making
Vehicle Integration
Lead cross-domain systems engineering and requirements management activities.
Product Backlog & Agile Leadership
Own and prioritise the product backlog, including features, epics, and requirements.
Make prioritisation decisions based on customer value, technical feasibility, business impact, and delivery objectives.
Provide clear backlog readiness and acceptance criteria to development teams.
Evaluate deliverables against Definition of Done (DoD) standards and approve or reject outputs accordingly.
Stakeholder Management
Act as the primary customer-facing contact for product-related matters.
Collaborate closely with programme management, technical project management, system architecture, and other product leadership functions.
Coordinate activities across multiple product ownership teams within the driving domain, including safety and comfort-related features.
Release & Quality Responsibility
Ensure products are delivered in line with agreed scope, schedule, and quality objectives.
Make final release-readiness decisions.
Balance performance, cost, risk, and time-to-market considerations.
Manage product changes, issue prioritisation, and quality-related KPIs.
Drive continuous improvement of product quality and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
Knowledge and experience in ADAS and autonomous driving systems, including:
Perception
Planning
Vehicle Control
Experience in systems engineering, requirements management, and architecture.
Knowledge of agile development methodologies.
Understanding of ASPICE.
Business-level English proficiency.
