A global electronic design automation software company is looking for an Application Engineer (DFT Solutions). The selected candidate will provide technical expertise and customer support for advanced DFT technologies, helping semiconductor customers improve test coverage, quality, yield, reliability, safety, and security across the IC lifecycle.
Responsibilities
Provide technical sales and application support for advanced DFT solutions.
Propose and implement test methodologies and DFT solutions for semiconductor customers.
Support customer evaluations, proof-of-concept activities, and deployment projects.
Deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, and customer training.
Assist customers with DFT implementation, test strategy development, and troubleshooting.
Collaborate with global development teams to communicate customer requirements and market feedback.
Support the adoption of advanced test technologies across IC, ASIC, and SoC development projects.
Requirements
Strong knowledge of Design-for-Test (DFT) methodologies.
Experience with Scan implementation, ATPG, Fault Simulation, Memory BIST, Logic BIST, and JTAG (IEEE 1149.1).
Knowledge of IC, ASIC, and SoC testing technologies.
Experience with TCL and shell scripting.
Ability to read, understand, and create technical documentation in English.
Business-level English communication skills.
Native-level or fluent Japanese communication skills (JLPT N1 or equivalent).
