Job Description

Drive sourcing execution for automotive programs, ensuring alignment with cost targets and program milestones from initial design through production and end-of-life.
Manage procurement and supply chain readiness across the full product lifecycle, ensuring timely and cost-effective execution.
Lead cost optimization initiatives across Bill of Materials, maintaining competitiveness and profitability throughout the lifecycle.
Support business pursuit activities by providing competitive cost inputs, influencing design decisions, and aligning sourcing strategies with financial targets.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, program management, sales, manufacturing, finance, and procurement to achieve program objectives.
Facilitate strategic decision-making related to sourcing strategies, including dual sourcing, design-to-cost initiatives, and make-or-buy analysis.
Contribute to regional procurement activities in Japan, ensuring compliant and efficient sourcing processes in coordination with global teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or higher in business administration, supply chain, economics, or a related field
At least 8 years of experience in procurement, engineering, program management, quality, or product development
Strong analytical and financial skills with the ability to drive data-based decision-making
Proven experience in Bill of Materials cost management and lifecycle optimization
Ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders across multiple teams and regions
Demonstrated capability to manage complex projects, vendor relationships, and competing priorities
Strong communication, presentation, and facilitation skills
Fluency in English for both written and verbal communication
Comfort working in a hybrid environment and collaborating across global time zones
Willingness to travel occasionally for business needs
