Responsibilities :

■Summary:

The Business Development Manager, Japan is a hunter-type sales role responsible for driving new business growth by proactively identifying, pursuing, and winning new opportunities with blue-chip and top-tier companies in Japan.

This position requires a highly motivated sales professional with strong new business development experience, the ability to manage the full sales cycle, and the drive to consistently deliver annual new revenue targets through strategic prospecting and client acquisition.

Some of the things you will be doing:

・The Business Development Manager, Japan is primarily a hunter-role focused on creating new business opportunities and winning new clients for CSC’s Digital Brand Services in the Japan market.

・The ideal candidate is an experienced business development professional with a strong track record in proactive prospecting, opening doors with enterprise clients, and converting opportunities into revenue.

・This role is expected to target blue-chip and top-tier companies, uncover client needs, and position CSC’s Domain Security and Brand Protection solutions in a compelling and strategic way.

・This position requires someone who is comfortable leading the full sales cycle, from identifying prospects and engaging multiple decision-makers to tailoring proposals, closing business, and supporting successful onboarding.

・In addition to winning new logos and expanding strategic accounts, the Business Development Manager must build trusted client relationships, maintain strong engagement, and work closely with internal teams to deliver value and retain business in a competitive market.

・The successful candidate will be a driven, proactive, and commercially minded hunter with strong presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills.

・This role is best suited to someone who thrives on developing new opportunities from the ground up, navigating complex enterprise sales environments, and consistently achieving ambitious annual new revenue goals.

Required Experience / Abilities / Skills :

・ 5+ years’ experience in sales and business development

・Native-level Japanese and conversational-level English is required

・Degree Holder

・Strong presentation skills with excellent planning & organizational skills and active listening

・Service orientated individual who is highly motivated, proactive, strategic, with strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills. Native-level Japanese and conversational-level English required
