The Business Development Manager role offers the opportunity to drive growth for innovative software products within the automotive technology sector. This position plays an important part in identifying and developing new business opportunities, building a strong sales pipeline, and contributing directly to regional revenue objectives through close collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
Identify, develop, and progress business opportunities for software products across the region.
Contribute directly to revenue growth and achievement of financial objectives.
Create and manage a robust sales pipeline through proactive business development activities.
Qualify opportunities and support commercial execution to maximise business outcomes.
Collaborate closely with Sales, Product, and Finance teams to drive successful market engagement.
Articulate the business value of connected vehicle solutions to customers and stakeholders.
Influence cross-functional teams to achieve strategic business objectives.
Requirements
Extensive understanding of automotive connected vehicle solutions.
Ability to articulate the business value of connected vehicle solutions through both written and verbal communication.
Ability to influence teams across the organisation to achieve desired business outcomes.
Minimum of 5-8 years of business development, sales, or pre-sales experience.
Additional experience in hands-on technical development of software and/or hardware.
Proficiency in both English and Japanese.
