A global B2B technology company specializing in industrial computing, automation, edge AI, and industrial IoT solutions is looking for a Channel Strategy Manager/Director. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the selected candidate will lead the transformation and optimization of the channel partner ecosystem in Japan to support the company’s next phase of growth.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute strategic channel partner plans aligned with business growth objectives.
Build long-term business plans with key distributors and channel partners.
Design and implement partner investment, incentive, rebate, and MDF programs.
Drive partner performance through KPIs, business reviews, and joint planning activities.
Establish channel governance frameworks and address conflicts between direct and indirect sales organizations.
Collaborate with sales, business units, and global stakeholders to support market expansion and maximize channel effectiveness.
Evaluate partner investments based on measurable business outcomes and strengthen executive-level relationships across the channel ecosystem.
Requirements
5+ years of experience in channel sales strategy, alliance management, partner development, or sales planning within industrial automation, industrial PCs, edge AI, industrial IoT, or related B2B technology sectors.
Experience designing and managing partner incentive programs, rebate schemes, and MDF initiatives.
Proven experience developing joint business plans with distributors and strategic partners.
Experience engaging and negotiating with executive-level partner stakeholders.
Business-level English or Chinese communication skills.
Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and strategic planning capabilities.
