Job Description
- Ensure compliance with asset management laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Monitor departmental compliance and Provide guidance as needed.
- Review marketing materials for regulatory compliance.
- Manage KYC and anti-money laundering processes independently.
- Conduct regular compliance checks on sales and marketing activities.
- Prepare and submit internal and external compliance reports.
- support FSA licensing and training compliance processes.
- maintain contracts, legal records, and internal policies.
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 years of compliance experience within an asset management firm in Japan
- Strong understanding of relevant Japanese regulations (e.g., FIEA, IMAJ rules)
- Background in audit, legal, or compliance; relevant finance or legal qualifications preferred
- Self-starter with strong ownership and ability to meet deadlines
- Well-developed organizational and time management skills
- Native-level Japanese and business level English
