Job Description
- Development of accurate cost estimates for Data Center construction projects using Japanese unit pricing methods (単価見積もり)
- Review quantity take-offs (数量拾い出し) from project plans and specifications following Japanese measurement standards.
- Collaborate with design teams (設計事務所) and zenekon to align budgets with Japan-specific scopes of work.
- Develop project budgets based on cost estimates, ensuring alignment with client requirements, project timelines, and profit margins.
Qualifications
- Degree in Cost Engineering/Architectural & Civil Engineering (建築学・土木工学)/Construction Management (建設マネジメント)/Mechanical Engineering/Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in cost control, cost engineering, quantity surveying (積算), or project control within the industrial, construction, or data center sector with good Japan project experience.
- Mandatory experience with Japan construction projects and familiarity with Japanese construction practices, regulations, and market conditions.
- Business-level Japanese language proficiency (JLPT N2 or equivalent) and business level English for international collaboration.
