Responsibilities :

We are looking for a Cybersecurity Analyst with around 3 years of experience to help strengthen the security posture of the company across both IT and OT environments.

You will support cybersecurity operational activities, contribute to incident response, help deploy EDR solutions, and assist in building SOC capabilities.

This role is ideal for someone eager to grow in modern cloud environments as well as traditional on-prem and industrial systems, without requiring deep expertise in all areas from the beginning.

Key Responsibilities

Cybersecurity Operations & Incident Response

● Support detection, triage, containment, and remediation for cybersecurity incidents.

● Maintain and improve Incident Response playbooks and procedures for cloud and on-prem environments.

● Coordinate with SOC, IT/OT teams, and external partners (in Japanese & English).

EDR Deployment & Endpoint Security

● Assist with deployment, configuration, and ongoing operations of EDR tools across a heterogeneous environment (cloud workloads and on-prem endpoints).

● Monitor alerts, conduct initial investigations, and escalate when necessary.

Security Operations Center (SOC) Enablement

● Help develop SOC use cases, onboard logs, and improve alert quality.

● Collaborate with SOC analysts and MSSP partners to enhance detection and response capability.

Cybersecurity Community Engagement

● Act as a central point of contact for cybersecurity questions across IT and OT teams.

● Contribute to awareness initiatives and promote best practices.

● Support cultural transformation by engaging frequently with system owners and engineers.

Risk & Compliance Support

● Participate in cybersecurity risk assessments for applications, systems, and infrastructure.

● Track remediation progress and assist in ensuring compliance during internal and external audits.

Required Experience / Abilities / Skills :

Required

● Experience as a Cybersecurity Engineer or similar role.

● Technical knowledge of network security, endpoint security, and cloud security platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).

● Experience with security tools such as SOAR, SIEM, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and vulnerability scanners.

● Fluent in Japanese (business level or higher) and English (professional working proficiency)

● Deep understanding of security frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST) and data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, local Japanese laws).

● Familiarity with incident response methodologies.

Preferred - But Not Mandatory

● Relevant security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+).

● Experience in a multinational or international corporate environment.

● Knowledge of scripting languages for automation (e.g., Python, PowerShell).
