The Semiconductor Device Engineer role offers the opportunity to drive cutting-edge 3D NAND technology innovation within a globally collaborative environment. This position focuses on advancing device performance, reliability, and manufacturability through electrical characterisation, analysis, and cross-functional development.
Responsibilities
Lead evaluation and optimisation of next-generation flash memory devices, including cell array voltage, timing, and reliability
Analyse device characteristics and contribute to process improvements based on data-driven insights
Develop and implement test programmes, screening methods, and stress tests to improve product quality and reduce early-life failures
Conduct electrical failure analysis and statistical evaluation of mass-production variations
Drive development and optimisation of next-generation CMOS devices, including design rule establishment and TEG design
Improve yield and device reliability through advanced data analysis techniques using tools such as Spotfire
Collaborate with global engineering teams across process, design, and test functions, coordinating activities between domestic and overseas sites
Requirements
Several years of experience in semiconductor device engineering, failure analysis, or testing
Ability to communicate technical topics and produce reports in English
Strong analytical skills with experience in electrical characterisation and data interpretation
Knowledge of programming languages such as C, C++, Python, or Java is advantageous
Experience in large-scale data analysis is desirable
Background in NAND flash or DRAM device development is preferred
