【Job Summary】
Based in a Tokyo R&D center within an advanced automotive software and compute organization, you will design, implement, and maintain an automated toolchain supporting the full software development lifecycle. Collaborating with both local and global stakeholders, you will bridge the gap between development and operations to enable fast, high-quality release cycles.
【Key Responsibilities】
CI/CD Pipeline Management: Design, optimize, and maintain end-to-end pipelines (build, test, deploy) tailored for automotive embedded software.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Provision and manage scalable development, test, and simulation environments using IaC practices and tools.
Automation & Quality: Integrate automated code analysis and testing into pipelines to enforce development standards and best practices.
Compliance & Security: Ensure infrastructure and pipelines comply with relevant automotive industry standards (e.g., ASPICE, ISO 26262) and cybersecurity best practices.
Monitoring & Reliability: Establish monitoring, logging, and alerting systems across the development ecosystem to ensure stability and performance.
Global Collaboration: Work with global engineering teams to align on shared standards while supporting local software owners and integration efforts.
Qualifications
【Basic Qualifications】
Experience: 5+ years of professional experience as a DevOps Engineer.
Technical Skills:
CI/CD: Proven experience in designing, implementing, and optimizing CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar (experience with embedded software is a plus).
Scripting & Version Control: Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and strong knowledge of Git for version control.
Containerization: Solid experience with Docker or other containerization technologies to ensure consistent and reproducible environments.
Language Skills:
English: Business-level proficiency or higher, with the ability to collaborate effectively with global teams.
Japanese: Not required (open to non-Japanese speakers).
【Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)】
Automotive Industry Experience: Experience working in the automotive or a related industry.
Industry Standards: Familiarity with relevant industry standards such as ASPICE or ISO 26262.
