The Distribution Partner Management Lead role offers an excellent opportunity to drive business growth through the expansion and development of a nationwide distributor network in Japan. This position combines channel sales, partner management, business development, and market strategy, while working closely with both domestic and international stakeholders to strengthen market presence and maximise commercial opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Expand and manage the distributor network across Japan.

  • Build strong relationships with partner management teams and sales organisations.

  • Set and monitor sales targets, KPIs, and business performance for assigned partners.

  • Develop sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and conduct regular business reviews.

  • Support new product launches, pricing strategies, and market introduction activities.

  • Deliver partner training, sales enablement programmes, webinars, and customer support initiatives.

  • Collaborate with partners on key customer opportunities and strategic projects.

  • Gather market intelligence on customer needs, competitor activity, and industry trends.

  • Work closely with internal teams and regional headquarters to support business growth.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in B2B sales.

  • Proven experience in channel sales, distributor management, or partner sales.

  • Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Experience managing sales targets, forecasts, and business performance metrics.

  • Strong analytical and reporting capabilities.

  • Business-level communication skills in both English and Japanese.

  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional and international teams.
