Job Description

Key Responsibilities

・Prepare and manage project financial plans, ensuring alignment with execution strategies

・Oversee project financials including cost control, cash flow, revenue, profitability, and variance analysis in collaboration with the Project Manager

・Maintain project data in financial systems and deliver regular financial reporting (costs, cash flow, full cost model, P&L and balance sheet accuracy)

・Manage commercial aspects such as invoicing, currency hedging, guarantees, and tax matters with support from internal teams

・Drive cash flow optimization, margin improvement, and commercial awareness within project teams

・Ensure compliance with internal controls, governance processes, and corporate policies, including audit follow-ups

・Support risk and opportunity management, including quantification and mitigation tracking

・Contribute to business controlling, continuous improvement initiatives, and ad-hoc projects

Qualifications

- Required with 3-7 years of experience in business or financial controlling; project controlling experience preferred.

- Proactive, logical, and result-oriented mindset.

- Knowledge of finance & accounting under IFRS and JP GAAP.

- Flexible, with a learning attitude; able to work in a dynamic, international environment.

- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines under pressure.

- Solid numerical analysis skills with proficiency in MS Excel.

- Experience working with ERP systems, SAP experience strongly preferred.

- Experience utilizing digitalization tools (such as Power BI) for data analysis and reporting is a plus.

- Business Level English and Japanese.
