The Financial Analyst role offers an exciting opportunity to operate at the intersection of controllership and FP&A within a global product organisation. This hands-on position combines financial control with forward-looking analysis, enabling data-driven decision-making and supporting operational excellence.
Responsibilities
Ensure financial integrity through accurate reporting, robust controls, and compliance with established processes
Drive planning and forecasting cycles, including budgeting and long-term financial modelling
Analyse financial performance and provide insights to support strategic and operational decision-making
Take ownership of P&L management, identifying risks and opportunities to optimise business outcomes
Partner with key stakeholders to translate financial data into actionable recommendations
Support continuous improvement of financial processes, systems, and reporting frameworks
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; postgraduate qualification preferred
At least 5 years of experience across Corporate FP&A, Accounting, or Finance Business Partner roles within a manufacturing environment
Proven experience managing P&L, financial planning cycles, and reporting processes
Advanced Excel skills, including financial modelling and data analysis
Hands-on experience with EPM tools such as BPC, SAC, Hyperion, or Anaplan, and ERP systems such as SAP
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and manage stakeholders effectively
Fluency in both Japanese and English, with strong written and verbal communication abilities
Additional experience in global or publicly listed organisations is advantageous
