Job Description
This role plays a central part in strengthening organizational competitiveness while addressing diverse employee needs through effective HR systems and operations. Core responsibilities include designing and operating compensation and benefits systems aligned with management strategy and organizational growth, leading change management initiatives and employee communication to support understanding and adoption of new HR programs, and managing and improving HR operational processes by leveraging new technologies to achieve accurate, simple, and efficient operations. The position also supports leadership decision-making through strategic planning and operates closely with key stakeholders across the organization.

Required Experience / Abilities / Skills :
Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree from a four-year university
Three or more years of experience equivalent to an HR manager role at a global company, with hands-on experience in compensation design, retirement benefit planning, payroll, or social insurance operations, or five or more years of experience as a consultant supporting HR projects related to compensation and benefits for global companies
Business-level proficiency in both Japanese and English
Foundational HR knowledge, particularly related to compensation and benefits, including labor laws, retirement benefit systems, payroll, social insurance, accounting, and income tax
Strategic thinking and strong capability in HR system design and project management
Knowledge of labor and employment regulations with the ability to manage legal and compliance risks
Data analysis skills, including the ability to use HR systems and digital tools to derive insights and propose improvements
Strong communication and coordination skills when working with leadership, internal teams, employees, external vendors, and benefit service providers
Flexibility and adaptability to respond to diverse employee needs and evolving organizational challenges
