The Inventory Manager role offers an exciting opportunity to play a key part in supporting operational excellence within a fast-growing organisation. This position focuses on maintaining inventory accuracy, improving supply chain efficiency, and developing scalable processes that support sustainable growth.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor inventory levels, maintain accurate stock records, and ensure inventory accuracy across all systems.

  • Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts, investigate discrepancies, and implement corrective actions.

  • Coordinate with suppliers and production partners to support efficient inventory management and operational continuity.

  • Forecast inventory requirements based on sales trends and help prevent stock shortages and overstock situations.

  • Monitor incoming shipments and outgoing orders to ensure smooth inventory flow.

  • Optimise storage organisation, improve inventory tracking processes, and develop efficient warehouse workflows.

  • Analyse inventory performance and operational metrics, prepare management reports, and recommend improvements to efficiency and profitability.

Requirements

  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail.

  • Comfortable working with data, inventory systems, and operational processes.

  • Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and resolve inefficiencies.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder coordination abilities.

  • Interest in fashion, retail, or manufacturing environments.

  • Enthusiasm for working in a startup environment and supporting organisational growth.

  • Experience in inventory management, logistics, warehouse operations, or supply chain management is preferred.

  • Experience using inventory management software is advantageous.

  • Retail or apparel industry experience is a plus.

  • Experience managing inventory teams is preferred.

  • Strong Excel or spreadsheet skills.

  • Fluent Japanese language skills.

  • Business-level English is preferred.
