A global semiconductor process control and advanced inspection technology company is looking for a MACH Application Development Engineer. The selected candidate will support advanced process control and metrology solutions through application engineering, customer engagement, technical problem-solving, and product development activities.
Responsibilities
Support new product introduction activities, including product definition, characterization, alpha testing, and beta testing.
Provide pre-sales and post-sales application support for semiconductor manufacturing customers.
Engage directly with customers to identify technical challenges, collect and analyze data, determine root causes, and develop effective solutions.
Develop and implement process control methodologies aimed at improving manufacturing performance and yield.
Prepare Best Known Method (BKM) documentation, technical training materials, and application guidelines, and transfer application expertise to global customer and engineering teams.
Collaborate with customers and researchers on technical publications, conference presentations, and industry papers.
Perform hands-on application work using advanced metrology systems, inspection equipment, and software solutions.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree with relevant industry experience, or Master's degree in Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, Semiconductor Engineering, or a related field.
Business-level Japanese and English communication skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Experience with semiconductor manufacturing processes, equipment, or process engineering environments.
Ability to work directly with customers and cross-functional technical teams.
Strong technical writing, presentation, and communication skills.
