Job Description
Support launch of an interventional therapy in Japan and alignment with local requirements
Collaborate with KOLs and societies to develop clinical usage guidance
Lead training/proctor programs with global and local stakeholders
Build strong HCP relationships and deliver medical education
Engage key experts and gather/translate field insights into strategy
Represent the organization at scientific meetings and expert engagements
Provide scientific support and respond to medical inquiries
Serve as a key medical contact for external experts and stakeholders
Qualifications
-Doctoral degree (e.g., PharmD, PhD, MD).
-5 years prior Medical Affairs or MSL Experience.
Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities, previously conducted in Japan.
-Advanced understanding of regional regulations, rules and guidelines related to pharma business activities in Japan, including knowledge of guidelines and trends overseen by JPMA (Japan Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association).
Analytical and logical thinking skills.
-Problem solving and management skills.
-Business level English skills and competencies and fluent/native written, read, and spoken Japanese.
-Proactive and assertive attitude to establish networking.
-Excellent communication and presentation skills.
-Able to work and align with multiple internal and external stakeholders and work cross-functional in a matrix structure.
-Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced team environment. Strong attention to detail, well-organized, operationally effective, and able to both develop project strategies and ensure reliable implementation with a flexible and solution-driven attitude.
-Ability to travel up to 50% of the time with periodic weekend work expectations (i.e. to attend conferences and/or other meetings).
