The Procurement Manager role offers the opportunity to lead a sizeable procurement function within a global manufacturing environment. Responsibilities
Develop and implement procurement processes, standards, and operational plans aligned with the organisation’s sourcing and cost management strategy.
Lead strategic sourcing initiatives, including RFP development, bid management, supplier negotiations, and contract execution.
Design and manage supplier selection, qualification, and performance management programmes to achieve cost efficiencies while maintaining quality and supply continuity.
Monitor market conditions, pricing trends, and manufacturing developments to identify opportunities, mitigate risks, and support informed procurement decisions.
Provide leadership in resolving complex client, supplier, and operational issues to ensure business continuity and stakeholder satisfaction.
Evaluate, approve, and qualify key suppliers to meet current and future business requirements.
Establish and oversee comprehensive RFP and bidding processes to ensure competitive sourcing, transparency, and value creation.
Drive procurement excellence through continuous process improvement, governance, and cross-functional collaboration.
Requirements
More than 5 years of supply chain experience within the manufacturing industry
Strong data analysis skills
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
TOEIC score of 700 or above
Strong project management skills
Proven ability to manage supplier relationships and procurement activities in a complex manufacturing environment
Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities
