Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with regional and global business objectives.

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Account Managers to achieve revenue and growth targets.

  • Drive business expansion through both existing account development and new customer acquisition.

  • Implement and reinforce modern sales methodologies, including MEDDPIC, across the sales organisation.

  • Lead sales forecasting, pipeline reviews, account planning, and overall business performance management.

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including presales, services, finance, legal, and technical support.

  • Build and maintain executive-level relationships with strategic customers to support long-term business growth.

  • Champion sales excellence, process improvement initiatives, organisational transformation, and team development.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise software sales, account management, or business development.

  • Strong experience selling into industrial sectors such as Oil & Gas, Chemicals, Marine, EPC, Energy, or Process Industries.

  • Proven track record of leading sales organisations and delivering business growth.

  • Experience driving change management initiatives and sales transformation programmes.

  • Strong expertise in sales methodologies such as MEDDPIC.

  • Experience managing complex enterprise sales cycles and executive-level customer relationships.

  • Strong CRM and sales management experience, including platforms such as Salesforce.

  • Fluent communication skills in both Japanese and English.

  • Strong leadership, coaching, stakeholder management, and relationship-building capabilities.
