Position Overview:
-Leads end-to-end design of brand, shopper, and consumer experiences to drive business growth
-Serves as a strategic partner to senior leadership, integrating design into business and brand decisions
-Translates consumer insights and cultural dynamics into impactful, scalable experiences
-Oversees experience design across physical, digital, retail, and commerce touchpoints
-Ensures experiences are human-centered, locally relevant, and aligned with broader frameworks
-Establishes design systems, frameworks, and guidelines to ensure consistency and scalability
-Drives excellence in shopper and commerce experiences across multiple channels
-Sets creative vision and quality standards while championing bold, innovative solutions
-Stays hands-on in shaping and elevating key creative outputs

Required Experience / Abilities / Skills :
Position Requirements:
-Degree in Design, Marketing, Business, or a related field; advanced education is preferred
-Extensive experience spanning design, creative strategy, branding, and shopper or retail experience
-Demonstrated ability to turn design into measurable business impact and sustained growth
-Strong leadership track record guiding senior leaders and cross-functional teams
-Deep understanding of consumer behavior, shopper insights, and cultural trends
-Proven experience managing agency ecosystems and large-scale creative initiatives
-Familiarity with the Japanese market and local consumer landscape
-Exposure to digital, commerce, and omnichannel experience design
-Comfortable navigating and contributing within global, matrixed organizations
-Strategic, systems-oriented design thinker with a big-picture mindset
-Hands-on leader with strong creative judgment and attention to detail
