The Senior HR Business Partner role offers the opportunity to work closely with senior business leaders to align talent and organisational strategies with business priorities. This position plays a key role in shaping a high-performing culture, supporting organisational transformation, and driving strategic people initiatives through strong stakeholder partnership and data-driven decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Build strong partnerships with senior business leaders to deliver strategic HR solutions aligned with business objectives.

  • Act as a trusted adviser on employee relations, conflict management, and workplace practices.

  • Lead key talent management initiatives, including succession planning, leadership capability development, and talent development programmes.

  • Support organisational growth and transformation through effective people strategies.

  • Utilise people analytics and workforce data to inform decision-making and improve organisational effectiveness.

  • Influence and collaborate with stakeholders across multiple levels within a matrixed environment.

  • Contribute to the development of a high-performing and inclusive organisational culture.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of HR experience.

  • Strong HR Business Partnering expertise with a proven track record in HR strategy, talent management, and succession planning.

  • Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships and effectively influence stakeholders across multiple levels of the organisation.

  • Strong business acumen and strategic mindset, with the ability to align people initiatives with broader organisational objectives.

  • Excellent communication skills in both Japanese and English.

  • Experience working within multinational and matrixed organisations.
