Responsibility :

The IT Manager will be responsible for the management of all IT related topics in Japan.
He/she will be in charge of :
- Responsible for applications and product deliveries
- Translating business requirements into technical requirements for outsource partner to implement application features
- Ensuring the availability of existing applications : maintenance and support to users
- Manage external partners
- Supervising a team (2 members)
- Managing the team of .Net developers in the Philippines
- Leading IT processes improvement

Reporting to the CEO of Japan office and regional IT director in Singapore
The IT Manager is a member of the Management Committee of Japan office

Required Experience / Abilities / Skills :


Minimum 5 years experience in a similar function

Education: bachelor's degree or higher in computer science or related technology

Experience in the following areas is required (Must Have)
- Software application specification, development and testing, including integration between front, middle and back office systems
- Windows environment
- Understanding of programming languages: C# .net
- SQL databases (MS SQL server)
- Project management
- Ability to plan
- Commitment to meeting deadlines
- Cost consciousness
- System management and technical support
- Coordination of external development service providers
- Working with international teams
- Native Japanese and Business level English

- Hands-on attitude
- Result orientation
- Resilience to stress and capability to adapt in a fast-paced environment
- “Customer Inside” sensitivity: ability put oneself in the shoes of a customer (internal or external) to truly listen and understand his needs

- Communication excellent oral and written communication skills (within team, company, partners and clients)
- Ability to work as a team in an international environment

Experience in the following areas is a plus (Nice To Have)
- Transactional systems: payment, loyalty or else
- CRM system (e.g. salesforce)
- Prepaid system requirements
- Payment system experience: processing, clearing, etc
- POS software development and customization
- People management (small teams)
- Remote collaboration with development teams based overseas
