Responsibilities :

■Job Purpose
Experienced Test Automation Engineer (Java Programmer) to join & support Test Team. Test Automation Engineer’s priority will be to understand current Automation test strategy, develop and implement automated tools, maintain code, translate business requirements to automated test cases, Close communication with engineers (Application Developers, Test Engineers). Technology primarily will be Selenium Web Driver (Java), Selenium Grid, interface to integration tools.

RESPONSIBILITY
■Key Accountabilities
Implement & Maintain Test Automation Code
-Implementing & maintain new functions & frameworks, analyze & debug source code
-Execute automation tests, build regression suites and report/regress bugs found by automation
-Create & send out automation Test Reports & Share with IT Managers & Business
-Collaboratively understand, review & feedback Automation Test Strategy
-Automate manual test cases especially Production failures, Blockers, Critical & business requirement
-Closely communicate with system core developers & SDET engineers in team
-Create technical documents & diagrams (sequence, class) relating to automation framework
-Teamwork to collaborate to document, maintain Test Code & brain storm new technical ideas
-Create POC’s of new automation tool & new ways of approach

Manual Testing
-Write & execute manual test cases
-Report & Perform bug regressions
-Identify & automate critical/prioritized manual test cases
-Work closely with manual testers, system developers & SME's

Project coordination
-Attend scrums meetings & look out for US & Tests to automate
-Proactively support & resolve on-demand, ad-hoc issues reported by project team members

Agile Process
-Basic knowledge of Agile methodology and should have experience for below activity
1) Sprint Planning
2) Sprint daily stand up meeting
3) Retrospective

Required Experience / Abilities / Skills :

KEY QUALIFICATIONS
■Requirements (1): Technical skills, Job experiences
- Strong OOP skills, implementing new functions & frameworks, analyze & debug source code
- Must have knowledge & experience in Selenium Web Driver (JAVA), Selenium Grid, GIT Hub, Multi or Parallel threaded techniques, 3rd party automation framework
- Must have basic knowledge of Jenkins & Selenium Integrations
- Must be able to convert manual test cases into automated especially Production failures, Blockers, Critical & business needs
- Teamwork to collaborate with other SDET engineers in team to document, maintain Test Code and brainstorm new technical ideas
- Knowing Jira is a plus
- Basic understanding of Agile software development (Methodology)
