Responsibilities :

I. Job Summary

The position will be responsible for Sales Promotion & Event, VMD and CRM(CRM is now mainly under Retail, and working with the team). Promoting the Business and the Brand through the design, planning and implementation of in-store and off-site events, ensuring the company's high quality standards within the budget given. Through an in-depth knowledge of the brand, local market and resources, is responsible for analyzing local opportunities in order to propose and rollout promotional activities and events in line with local needs and aimed at developing the Business, the relations with customers, especially VIP clients.
Create annual strategy plan for CRM, Sales Promotion and VMD based on Headquarters’ Marketing Strategy plan. Budget management ? ensure allocating proper amount to each project.


II. Key Duties, Responsibilities and Accountabilities

Sales Promotions & Events
- Take initiatives to enrich and elevate the quality of HW events & customer treatment with open-minded mentality in order to increase customer satisfaction and to reinforce customer engagement
- Manage & plan annual events calendar at both in-salon and off-site to optimize impact and resources
- Responsible for all preparation and coordination work to meet overall demands of the event’s objectives and production requirements
- Develop event concepts and the supporting event guidelines for brand initiatives and collection launches
- Oversee and be involved actively for event execution to make sure all event plans and proposals are in line with brand standards and guidelines
- Compile and report on global event recaps and results
- Oversee Gaisho events and Wholesale events
- Manage, update and follow up with internal and external parties on the different aspects of the event, including close liaison with Headquarters and Japan CEO for validation & approval and relevant local teams for maximum ore and post event impact
- To be responsible for the execution of in-store and consumer facing events in compliance with deadlines, budgets, business expectations (ROI) while ensuring an excellent client experience
- Actively collaborate with local CRM Manager and Communication Department in order to develop a consistent strategy with effective formats aiming to develop customer relationships
- Work closely with cross-functional teams such as MD, Retail, PR, Salons, store development team, wholesale team, logistic and CSR team.
- Produce qualitative and quantitative reporting at the end of each event/activity implemented in the market
- Manage seating plan for Gala party and dinner at VIP events by considering many-sided facts such as purchase history, relationship with HW (=Loyalty) and affinity with other customers
- Monitor competitors’ actions and best practices, get inspirations, and learn from them in order to continuously seek for improvement


Client Care
- Gift proposal, conduct the stock of the gifts & refreshments, according to the occasions and the products launch animation etc
- Offer and handle gift/ treatments on customers’ special occasions such as birthday/ anniversary/ any occasion
- Restaurant & Hotel suggestion & booking up to customer rank, occasion, and needs
- Building good relationship with any suppliers such as hotels, liquor companies, chocolatiers etc in order to arrange special rare gift item or catering for Harry Winston


VMD
Oversee the execution of overall VMD activities with VMD staff
- Support Window display plan in align with Global campaigns and guidelines
- Provide advice on display tools including sales tray, gloves etc.
- Light box selection ? in align with Global campaigns and guidelines
- Holiday facade creation ? make proposal to Japan CEO and HQ, arrange vender
- Manage Art work in salons ? change to new visual and make proposal when new salon opens
- Manage Salon hospitality goods such as teacup and sugar pot etc, and make guideline for salon
- Salon music ? work with HQ
- Manage annual VMD calendar in accordance with Headquarters calendar

CRM
Oversee the execution of overall CRM activities with CRM staff
- Lead CRM activities by having support of CRM staff
- Create annual strategy plan
- Create gifting plan from analysis of CRM point of view and arrange proposals as well as approvals
- Continuously seek opportunities for new program to increase customer’s loyalty
- Result monitoring periodically and report Japan CEO and Headquarters


Printed Materials
- Translation for catalogue by having support from PR manager
- Manage Catalogue and price list
- Always looking for a space to improve for efficiency

Required Experience / Abilities / Skills :

III. Job Qualifications
- 3 years minimum experience in Event & Sales Promotion, preferably within the luxury industry or knowledge of the industry.
- Understanding of the high-end jewelry market
- Great interpersonal skills with the ability to work cross-departmentally
- Language: Japanese (Native level), English (Business level in writing and in verbal)
- Ability to influence decision-makers and work with VIPs
- Excellent verbal and writing communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft office (EXCEL AND POWERPOINT A MUST)
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Some travel required
