Overview:
Work closely with a business unit or function and manages the daily activities of the financial planning and analysis, forecasting, budgeting, cost management for the business unit/function. Reviews analysis and evaluations of the business' operating results and prepares short and long range forecasts for the business operations, including sales, operating expense and headcount. Also, the controller leads and supports certain FP&A process, including but may not be limited to cross-BU sales and OPEX FP&A.
Key Responsibilities
? Business Unit controller works closely with business unit leaders and manages the financial and the reporting for the business unit. Deeply understand the business and identifies trends by comparing actual results to budget.
? Drives the business plan process, prepares presentations for the business plan and all forecast updates for management.
? Ensures that appropriate processes are in place to report financials timely, accurately and compliantly.
? Identifies critical factors affecting sales and operating expense and evaluates the potential to achieve targets consistent with Company goals.
? Develops, evaluates, and implements internal controls, financial policies and procedures.
? Validates financial reporting structures, overall budget, and planned spending amounts.
? Reviews and approves investment requirement and addresses more complex concerns. Monitors performance of the business unit vs business objectives, and identify the risk/ opportunities for the target achievement, and share such risk or opportunities with the management in a timely and transparent manner.
? Work with cross-functional teams or Finance sub-teams on cross-BU processes and projects.

Required Experience / Abilities / Skills :

? Bachelor’s degree or higher
? More than 5 years of accumulated experience working in finance or accounting role, business partnering or FP&A experience preferred.
? Strong analytic capabilities, innovative thinking, and learning agility ? both in terms of process and system/technology
? Strong communication and presentation skills
? Strong compliance acumen and team work spirit
? English skill in both writing and speaking
